CNN just got taught a lesson by independent journalist Nick Shirley, whose video exposing fraudulent Somalian- run daycare centers in Minnesota went viral last week.
During an interview, CNN’s Whitney Wild tried to minimize the severity of the fraud that Shirley uncovered in Minnesota.
“Why did I show up one day in Minnesota, go to all these daycares with no children, receiving millions of dollars?” asked in response, shutting her down by noting,
“We uncovered nearly $110 million in fraud in one day.”
After the interview with Shirley, CNN did their own ‘investigation’ by calling the daycares featured in his video.
They were forced to admit that only one actually picked up the phone and of course, insisted they were a legitimate business.

WOW! CNN got ANNIHILATED by Nick Shirley
“They’ve already done 80 indictments, cases have gone on for years!”
NICK: “Then why did I show up one day in Minnesota, all these daycares, no children, millions of dollars, we uncovered nearly $110M in fraud in ONE DAY?”

CNN: We reached out to these daycare centers. Only one answered, and said they’re legitimate.
OMG…
Well, there you have it folks!
One daycare has confirmed to CNN that they are definitely not fraudsters.
Case closed!
What a joke. No wonder CNN’s ratings are in the dumps.
It’s people like Nick Shirley who are the true future of journalism.
Here’s how he responded to CNN’s ‘investigation’ of his claims:
Hahahaha they take the word of one “daycare” and side with them
I’m laughing
