During a recent interview, President Trump’s former U.N. Ambassador, and former South Carolina governor, Nikki Haley, sat down for an interview with CBN News chief political analyst David Brody. Haley started his interview by telling Haley that God proved he has a sense of humor when he put Donald Trump in place as the President of the United States.

The CBN analyst asked Haley, “What is your view kind of spiritually on the sovereignty of God and what he’s doing exactly by putting Donald Trump as president of the United States?”

Haley responded, “Well, I think that it goes to show that things— everything happens for a reason and the way I see it is look at the results of Donald Trump as president.” Haley continued to list all of Trump’s accomplishments and how they positively affect the lives of individuals and families in America. “We have more friends and family that are employed than ever before, ” Haley added.

Haley reminded the host of President Trump’s commitment to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, saying, “We are acknowledging real truths with the president that had the courage to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. And there’s been a lot of courage that’s come from this president to change what was the status quo.” Haley added that Trump is exactly what the American people wanted, adding, “They did want a disruptor-in-chief. They did want someone who was going to go against the grain and get us out of our comfort zone.”

“I think that God sometimes places people for lessons and sometimes places people for change. And you can look at everything that has happened, and I think we are seeing a lot of change, and I think we are gaining a lot of lessons from it as well,” Haley told the

Fox News’ Ed Henry shared a clip of his upcoming interview with Secretary of Energy Rick Perry who is a huge fan of President Trump. Perry, who is has very strong faith, told Henry that Perry gave Trump a one-page memo about Old Testament kings who were imperfect, but were sent by God to do great things.

In July 2017, a photo of a group of pastors went viral. The photo was taken in the Oval Office with a group of Evangelical pastors placing their hands on President Trump where they prayed over him. After an unexpected invitation by the President of the United States, the group of 25 pastors who were at the White House for a meeting traveled to the Oval Office where they met with him. When a pastor suggested they pray over the president, Evangelical pastor Jack Graham told Fox & Friends host Ainsley Earhardt that President Trump welcomed the offer.
