President Trump eviscerated CNN and its “corrupt” reporters — particularly, Kaitlan Collins — while taking questions from the Oval Office today.

While speaking about the $1.776 billion weaponization fund, which has unfortunately been scrapped thanks to RINOs in the Senate, President Trump went off on CNN for “being crooked as hell.”

He then torched Kaitlan Collins, who was standing right there.

“She’s a young, beautiful woman, never smiles,” President Trump said, “I never see a smile on her face. I see her standing there with hatred in her eyes.”

Later, President Trump took aim at Kaitlan Collins once again after she tried to interrupt him.

“Be quiet. You should be ashamed of yourself,” he told her before noting how she used to be a conservative from Alabama until she went to work for the fake news.

TRUMP: “CNN now has new ownership. Maybe it’ll straighten out. I doubt it, hard to straighten GARBAGE out.”

President Trump really was in no mood to put up with CNN’s garbage lies today!

But, this isn’t the first time he has criticized Kaitlan Collins.

The Hill noted:

Trump frequently attacks Collins, making comments about her appearance and slamming CNN’s reporting of him. He notably attacked her in February for not smiling at him, an incident Vice President Vance said he found to be “so perceptive.”

“She’s asking a question and the president says, ‘Why don’t you ever smile?’” Vance told Megyn Kelly in an interview. “And it’s actually, like, so perceptive even if you’re asking a tough question, even if you take your job very seriously. Like, why does it always have to be so antagonistic?”

Trump also called Collins “stupid and nasty” in December when he claimed she was asking about construction on the White House ballroom. She later brushed off the insults and said on social media that “Technically, my question was about Venezuela.”

The president has also lashed out at other reporters who are women. He notably told a Bloomberg reporter in November to be “Quiet, piggy” after she asked him a question about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

That same month, Trump also called a New York Times reporter “ugly, both inside and out” after writing a report about his health, age and physical fitness.

The New York Post shared a statement from CNN in response to President Trump’s takedown of one of their reporters:

A CNN spokesperson told The Post that Collins “is an exceptional journalist, reporting every day from the White House and the field with real depth and tenacity.”

“She skillfully brings that reporting to the anchor chair and CNN platforms every day, which audiences around the world know they can trust,” the spokesperson added.

Trump has previously slammed Collins, who began her career as an entertainment reporter and later White House correspondent for the Daily Caller, as CNN’s “worst reporter.”

Collins joined CNN in 2017 to cover the first Trump administration.
