The Lincoln Memorial Reflection Pool renovations are officially finished — just in time for the America 250 festivities happening in D.C. this summer and at a fraction of the cost estimated by previous administrations!

As a huge thank-you for getting it done, President Trump invited the hardworking men who completed the project to the Oval Office.

He personally greeted the construction workers, signed hats for them, and gave them each a presidential challenge coin.

These guys did some great, hard work on the renovation. They deserve the honor!

President Trump revealed that, during the renovation, nearly a dozen dumpsters full of garbage were removed.

Can you believe it? Other presidents just let literal trash collect in the pool for years?

WOW! President Trump reveals they removed 11 DUMPSTERS worth of GARBAGE and filth out of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool

It’s been fumigated, sand blasted, scrubbed, coated, and filled 👏🏻

“It was going to cost 400 million dollars and we did it for about 10 million. It was going to take four years to build and we did it in like a month, month and a half!”

“I built many, many swimming pools as a builder, built hundreds of them, and I got one of our contractors. I had them take a look. And he said, oh, we can do a great job.”

“If you could just give us a decent surface and surface, so we sandblasted the surface. We fumigated it. We took out 11 dumpsters, big dumpsters, full of garbage.”

“It was old garbage. Some of the garbage was there for years. It was all disgusting. It smelled. We took 11 dumpsters of garbage out with shovels. We had a shovel inside of what’s called a pool or a lake, and got it cleaned.”

“We then fumigated it. We then sandblasted the entire thing, washed it, cleaned it, scrubbed it, sandblasted it. Then we gave it a test that we rinsed it out, and we gave them a beautiful surface!”

“And then they put a swimming pool topping, but industrial strength. It’s industrial strength. It’s used for tanks and lots of other things to hold water.”

The Reflecting Pool renovation wrapped up last week.
