MSNBC host Hallie Jackson asked Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) about the disgusting comments about 9-11 attacks made by her fellow Muslim congresswoman, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).  Jackson played the clip of Ilhan Omar speaking to a group at a CAIR event in Los Angeles, CA. During her speech, Omar erroneously claimed that CAIR was founded after 9-11 (for the record, CAIR was founded in 1994), she went on to water down the murder of just under 3,000 innocent people at the hands of Muslim terrorists, as “some people did something.”

The pro-Palestinian, anti-President Trump lawmaker responded to Omar’s outrageous remarks, by playing the victim. Tlaib told the MSNBC host, “They do this all the time to us—especially women of color. They do that. They take our words out of context, cuz they’re afraid because we speak truth—because we speak truth to power.”

Tlaib who calls her fellow Muslim lawmaker, Ilhan Omar, her “sister,” telling Jackson, Omar was talking about uplifting people.  Taking it out of context. This is just pure racist act, by many of those—because she does speak truth.”

Watch:

In 2009, (two years before 9-11) three US Senators, including Democrat Chuck Schumer, wrote then-FBI director Robert Mueller a letter asking if other government agencies would be following the FBI’s decision to cut ties with CAIR?  In the letter, the US Senators refer to CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case. Senator’s Kyl (R-AZ), Schumer (D-NY) and Coburn (R-OK) signed the letter, offering to assist Mueller with any tools he needed to keep America safe.

What do you think? Should the media be pointing out how dangerous it is for our US Congresswoman to be propping up organizations like CAIR, that have been condemned by our intelligence community for their role in financing terror group Hamas?
