Who can forget Fergie of The ‘Black Eyed Peas’ (see below) butchering the national anthem at last year’s NBA All-Star Game?
She even had the players laughing.
This year, the soulful rendition of the national anthem by R & B singer Anthony Hamilton is getting mixed reviews.
Do you believe the national anthem is up for interpretation or should it always be sung the way it has historically been done?

Anthony Hamilton was respectful in his rendition of the national anthem and has a beautiful voice. Fergie, on the other hand, had the players laughing at her version.
