This is truly stunning and so sad…
A Swiss Ski Resort caught fire and the fire started to spread rapidly.
Instead of immediately fleeing for safety, many people stuck around to film it and 40 people perished from the fire.

The footage of the Swiss ski resort fire is actually terrifying AF.
The fact that some people are so desensitized to actual danger, and would rather film it and sing and dance around the fire, rather than leave ASAP or do something about it, though? Sheeeesh.

Many are blaming this on Social Media and the desire to record and post everything to Instagram:

With 40 people confirmed dead, this is a massive tragedy and one that seems like it could and should have been very avoidable.

The fire just didn’t touch him, the fire was just all around him, but not on him. And he survived fortunately, he managed to leave and he broke a window to be able to escape.
But for me, if that’s why I’m here tonight, it’s because I just want to thank the Lord for having saved me. And I would also just ask to save my friends who are reported missing because it’s horrible, because I miss them.
I don’t want to lose any more people because I’ve already lost people and we’re still looking for some and I don’t want to. Because I’ve already been so afraid, afraid for myself, afraid for my girlfriends, afraid for everyone inside.
I have friends in the hospital, I have friends everywhere.
