Texas cowboys are heroes! They’ve been rescuing livestock during Tropical Storm Harvey. Check out Chance Ward of Cleveland, Texas with other local cowboys:

He’s been posting videos on Facebook of cowboy rescues.

Ward said: “There is a lot of sad out of this storm, but I look at the positive. One of the greatest feelings in the world is having my best partner…my 17-year-old son. We were able to swim and save four horses today. There are a lot of great cowboys, plenty that are willing to do the same as us.”

“Just one of the videos taken cattle to higher ground,” Ward wrote. “Several local cowboys helped.”A video posted by Ward showed dozens of cows being herded to safety through flood waters by men on horseback.

Another video posted Monday shows Ward’s son on horseback releasing a horse from an enclosure which appears to be stuck and then leading him through treacherous waters to safety and is captioned “All animals were saved.”

That video has since received 10 million views and has been shared over 200,000 times.
