Yesterday, Democrat Governor Newsom announced a “hard close” of all beaches in Orange County.
“We can’t see images like we saw, particularly on Saturday, in Newport Beach and elsewhere.” Newsom said on Thursday “the conditions last week, the images we saw at a few of our beaches were disturbing.”
Newport Beach and Huntington Beach hit back and challenged Newsom’s unconstitutional order ahead of another heatwave that is expected to hit Southern California next week.
Thousands of protesters took to the streets in Huntington Beach, CA to send their authoritarian Democrat governor a strong message.
Here’s another close-up video of the protest:
Police and sheriff’s deputies on horseback, on foot and on motorcycles set up skirmish lines to keep protesters out of the street in front of the Huntington Beach Pier, where thousands have amassed to rally against the governor’s closure of OC beaches.

California’s radical governor is taking a lot of heat from citizens for closing down beaches while setting high-level sex offenders free from prison over fears they may contract the Wuhan coronavirus.
From Fox News – Just days before California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered the closure of parks and beaches in Orange County, making it a criminal offense to step foot in the sand, the state ordered the release of seven high-risk sex offenders from the county’s jails over concerns they could contract coronavirus.

Mayor Will O’Neill was highly critical of Governor Newsom’s order to shut down their beaches from 428 miles away in Sacramento.
Without speaking to a single local official in Newport Beach, Governor Newsom has put politics over data, and substituted his will for our judgment from 428 miles away in Sacramento. Los Angeles County closed their beaches over a month ago and data now shows (1/3) pic.twitter.com/3uvKb6KdAL
