A great moment during the CPAC speech that President Trump gave today came when the conservative activist who was attacked on UC Berkeley’s campus was brought up on stage by the president.

The attack on Leadership Insitute’s Hayden Williams was caught on video by another student (see below). The search for the attacker was a slow process causing some to presume that the police really didn’t want to catch the attacker. This is a very liberal college and town.

Finally, a student named Zachary Greenberg was arrested yesterday.

Hayden’s face was bruised up when he made an appearance on TV.

President Trump brought Hayden up on stage today in what could be a classic moment to turn around the suppression of free speech on campus because of what he did next. Right after bringing Williams up on stage, President Trump announced he will sign an order tying federal funds for higher education to free speech protection.

OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON THE ATTACK:

A student at UC Berkeley who had a sign saying “Beware of False Hate Crimes” was brutally attacked by a leftist student.

The table was a Turning Point USA recruiting site and the attacker went after the conservative with full force.

It was all caught on video by another student who spoke out on Fox & Friends to tell the story of how he happened to film the attack:

The student who was attacked spoke out on Hannity:

Fox News’ Sean Hannity spoke with the Turning Point USA field representative, who was sucker-punched by the leftist bully on the Berkeley campus.

Conservative activist Hayden Williams appeared on “Hannity” Thursday night where he addressed the violent attack he experienced Tuesday on the campus of the University of California-Berkeley.

“This person claimed we were promoting violence on campus and proceeded to take his aggression out on us,” Williams told host Sean Hannity.

Williams sported a black eye after he was punched while assisting conservative group Turning Point USA recruit members.

Watch, as Hayden Williams explains what lead up to the violent attack. Sean Hannity also asks for viewers to help the Berkeley police find the leftist thug behind the violent attack.

Here’s a close up picture of the thug who punched Williams and then ran away.

Here’s a photo of the friend (on the right) who started the confrontation with the leftist thug.

What do you think about the leftist thug who assaulted the Trump supporting student? Should his crime be treated as a hate crime? Let us know what you think in the comment section below. We’d love to hear your opinion.
