It’s becoming increasingly difficult for Americans to get a straight story from scientists and so-called “experts” about the threat surrounding the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. Is it deadlier than the common flu, or is it less deadly? Do healthy people under 65, with no pre-existing conditions need to be locked down in our homes for months if they want to survive, or should they be out in society, living their lives as they do during flu season?

KGET reports -Doctors, scientists and government officials across the world have encouraged — even ordered — people to stay home to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Now, two doctors in Kern County are sharing a differing opinion. They say sheltering in place is doing more harm than good.

Doctors Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi of Accelerated Urgent Care refuse to wear masks outside. They say the longer people stay inside, the more their immune system drops.

In the video below, Dr. Dan Erickson introduces himself and Dr. Artin Massihi, explaining that they’ve both had extensive classes microbiology, biochemistry, and immunology, adding, “We have studied this, each of us, for over 20 years”

Dr. Erickson reveals that in California, volumes of patients have dropped significantly, saying, “The hospitals, their ICUs are empty, essentially,” adding that the hospitals are furloughing doctors and health care, professionals. Dr. Erickson revealed that they are only focused on COVID and are busy doing paperwork related to COVID while patients who need critical health care like for heart disease and cancer are not coming in to see their doctors because they’re afraid.

“Typically you quarantine the sick,” he said, using measles as an example. “We’ve never seen where you quarantine the healthy,” Dr. Erickson said, suggesting that it’s contrary to the way they’ve historically treated serious illnesses.

Dr. Erickson explained that according to recent data, 12% of Californians have tested positive for COVID-19, suggesting that the disease is widespread, and is similar to the numbers of people who are typically infected the flu. Dr. Erickson explains that the millions of deaths projected based on initial models were “woefully inaccurate.” Dr. Erickson breaks it down, saying, “That means, you have a 0.03% chance of dying of COVID-19 in the state of California.” He asks, “Does that necessitate sheltering in place? Does that necessitate shutting down medical systems? Does that necessitate people being out of work?”  He adds, “I also want to mention that 96% of people who get COVID in California recover, with no continuing medical problems.”

Dr. Erickson makes it clear that they are using actual data, and not government data that’s been manipulated, pointing out that in every state, there are millions of cases and a very small amount of deaths.

“If you have no symptoms, you should be able to return to work,” Dr. Erickson said. “Are you an asymptomatic viral shedder? Maybe. But we can’t test all of humanity … the major events, the sporting events, these are nonessential. Let’s get back to those slowly. Let’s start with schools.”

Dr. Erickson points out that waiting for a COVID-19 vaccine to be approved for Americans to go back to their normal lives is not the best course of action, as not everyone takes the flu vaccine, and the flu, like COVID-19, also kills people. He explains, “Just because you have a vaccine, unless you force it on the public, doesn’t mean everyone is going to take it.”

Thank God for these two brave doctors who’ve come forward to share actual data that should comfort every American hiding under their beds in fear of the Wuhan coronavirus.

What do you think? Should governors lift the lockdowns on citizens, as according to these doctors actual data, it’s doing much more harm than good?
