President Trump fired off tweets yesterday after Canada’s Trudeau double crossed him:

After President Trump left the G7 meetings, PM Trudeau came out and held a press conference in which he called US tariffs “kind of insulting” and claimed that he “won’t be pushed around”.

TRUMP HIT BACK:

Based on Justin’s false statements at his news conference, and the fact that Canada is charging massive Tariffs to our U.S. farmers, workers and companies, I have instructed our U.S. Reps not to endorse the Communique as we look at Tariffs on automobiles flooding the U.S. Market!

PM Justin Trudeau of Canada acted so meek and mild during our @G7 meetings only to give a news conference after I left saying that, “US Tariffs were kind of insulting” and he “will not be pushed around.” Very dishonest & weak. Our Tariffs are in response to his of 270% on dairy

Fast forward to this morning…White House Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow let it rip this morning on CNN when he said the Canadian PM “stabbed us in the back”.

Kudlow’s last words: “We were coming together beautifully, okay? And then he goes out there and pulls this amateur political stunt…amateurish scheme that really broke up all the goodwill from that meeting in Quebec.”
