While unhinged Democrats remain focused on undoing the results of the 2016 presidential election through false allegations and personal attacks on President Trump, he remains focused on fulfilling his promises to the American people and making America great for every citizen.
Today, the Democrat Party, once again, humiliated themselves when they subpoenaed the acting director of national intelligence, Joseph Maquire to appear before the House Intelligence Committee. Chairman of the Intel Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) made a fool of himself when he pretended to be reading from a transcript of a July 25 phone call between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky. The transcript was released yesterday by President Trump after a whistleblower accused Trump of threatening to pull military aid from the Ukraine government if they didn’t investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.
Western Journal reports – While the whistleblower controversy and impeachment have been the talk of the town, other important things have been going on as well this week, as evidenced by the Senate’s 53-44 vote Thursday to confirm Eugene Scalia, the son of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, as secretary of labor.
Meanwhile, the Senate has voted 53-44 to CONFIRM Eugene Scalia to be U.S. Labor Secretary, replacing Alex Acosta, who resigned in July after facing criticism of his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

The position opened up in July after then-Labor Secretary Alex Acosta resigned over his handling of a sweetheart plea deal given more than a decade ago to the wealthy financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who has since committed suicide.
Trump has offered high praise for Eugene Scalia’s accomplishments, believing him more than qualified to lead the Labor Department.
“Gene has led a life of great success in the legal and labor field and is highly respected not only as a lawyer but as a lawyer with great experience … working with labor and everyone else. He will be a great member of an Administration that has done more in the first 2 ½ years than perhaps any Administration in history!” Trump tweeted in July.
According to Heavy – The Scalias had nine children: five sons and four daughters. His children are Ann, Eugene, John, Catherine Courtney, Mary, Paul, Christopher, Matthew, and Margaret. They were all raised very conservatively in the Catholic faith and even weren’t allowed to wear jeans to school, Time reported. Over time, that particular rule eased up, but Scalia believed that it was important to have high standards, even if the world didn’t respect them.
His children attended local public school and every week they would all go to Sunday Mass. They drove an hour to downtown Washington D.C. each week to attend traditional services at St. Matthew’s Cathedral. This was important bonding time, since Scalia worked so many long hours that he couldn’t go to sports games or piano recitals, he told 60 Minutes.
Not everyone was happy with the appointment of Eugene Scalia. As we’ve come to expect, the resist Senator Chucky Schumer (D-NY) took to Twitter to call his appointment a “slap in the face of the Labor Department.” Although they do nothing to keep or move jobs back to America, the Democrats rely heavily on contributions from unions and have tight relationships with union bosses. Of course, Chuck wants a union member to head up the labor department. News flash, Chucky…not every worker in America belongs to a union.
Eugene Scalia's nomination is a slap to the face of the Labor Department.@realDonaldTrump could have chosen a union member.
Instead, he nominated a corporate lawyer who has spent his career protecting the interests of CEOs, big corporations, the wealthy elite—not workers. pic.twitter.com/SJ3lVNXZkq

Meanhwile, President Trump offered his praise for Eugene Scalia, as he announced his nominatin for Gene Scalia on Twitter, saying he will be a “great member of an Administration that has done more in the first 2 1/2 years than perhaps any Administration in history.”
