Guest post from The Conservative Brief:

Democrats continue to increase their misinformation campaigns and attacks against law enforcement officers. Just days ago, House Rep. Rashida Tlaib (pictured below) professed that America should do away with policing, militarization, and prisons altogether. By Tlaib’s own admission, she believes the aforementioned things are racist and “cannot be reformed.”

The same Democrat Party that continues to attack law enforcement officers certainly enjoys their protection. During the January 6 insurrection, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle were protected by police; however, in the minds of Rep. Tlaib and other leftists, defunding and abolishing law enforcement is still a good idea.

On Friday, the White House joined the misinformation campaign being waged against police, as Fox News reports.

The White House on Policing in the United States

On Friday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki answered questions from the press. At some point, a reporter asked the press secretary whether or not President Biden has viewed the video of Adam Toledo, 13, being shot by police.

Psaki, in turn, explained that while she hadn’t yet spoken to the Democrat president, she expected to do so later in the day. The White House press secretary then opined that police are responsible for using “unnecessary force” against brown and black Americans.

Before moving onto the next subject matter, Psaki explained that President Biden remains supportive of police reform; thus, the president is eager for a congressional bill on police reform to arrive on his desk. Finally, the White House press secretary confirmed that an “independent investigation” into the police shooting of Toledo remains underway.

Police Reform Supported by the Biden Administration

The White House confirmed earlier this week that President Biden has a strong interest in seeing police reform across the nation. Days ago, Psaki stated that Biden remains supportive of the George Floyd Act. Thus far, this legislation has yet to go through the necessary process and obtain votes.

Despite its stance on policing, the Biden administration is steering clear of rhetoric that policing in the United States should halt altogether. Several days ago, the White House press secretary explained that President Biden does not support abolishing law enforcement.

What do you think about the White House claiming that law enforcement uses too much force against brown and black Americans? What do you think about other Democrats calling to dismantle and defund police completely? Let us know in the comments section below.
