The White House on Monday launched “Trump TV,” a 24/7 streaming platform on YouTube after President Trump barred CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO from the White House.

“IT’S LIVE,” the White House wrote.

“TRUMP TV IS STREAMING NOW. 24/7, updated in real time, with top past moments, announcements, and the latest and greatest from the administration all in one place. Not every big moment has made it on your tv, now it can,” it continued.

The inaugural video was a stream of Trump speaking at Mount Rushmore on July 3 as part of a livestream called “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station.”

The video is also streamed via a YouTube window on the White House website. Beside the window is a box titled “White House Live.” The window read that it was “Off Air” but advised viewers to “Stay Tuned.” Below both windows is a chyron reading official updates and statements praising Trump’s actions as president, among other texts.

It is unclear if Trump TV will play live events featuring the president and his administration.

A promo for Trump TV played on the White House’s YouTube channel earlier in the day. The video used clips of characters from various media –– including “Seinfeld,” “Family Guy,” and “The Dark Knight” –– watching TV as The Buggles’s “Video Killed the Radio Star” played in the background. The words “Trump TV” flash across the screen over the clips.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) slammed Trump TV’s rollout in the wake of his ban on White House reporters from CNN, Politico and MS NOW.

“First, Trump banned independent news from the White House,” Newsom wrote on X. “Now, he’s launching what is quite literally state-run TV to try drowning out the fact that he and his corrupt administration are failing the American people. This is truly autocratic behavior from a failed President.”

CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration after being barred from the White House, saying it violated their First Amendment rights to cover the president.

“Without notice or process, the White House revoked our journalists’ credentials because it objected to our reporting,” the three outlets said in a joint statement.

“Left unchallenged, this threatens press freedom and the public’s right to independent journalism free from government interference,” the statement continued.

“The White House is not instituting an assault on the Free Press, something which I cherish. It is instituting an assault on the FAKE NEWS, something that has grown like Cancer in our beloved United States of America,” Trump said.

“It is corrupt, purposeful, pervasive, fully coordinated, and totally out of control. It is a threat to our National Security, and must be stopped, NOW!” he added.

The White House TV pool, which includes CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and Fox, said it would not cover Trump on Monday, skipping out on his meeting with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the unveiling of the new White House helipad, which was broadcast with no audio since there was no pool boom microphone.
