The head of Italy’s conservative populist Brothers of Italy party, Giorgia Meloni, has been elected as the nation’s first conservative female prime minister in history.

In a sharp rebuke of the anti-God, anti-family Left, Meloni defeated Italy’s Prime Minister Enrico Letta of the center-left Democratic Party on Sunday.

Meloni, who has been referred to as the Trump of Italy, gave a powerful speech that resonated around the world, but especially in the United States of America, where the battle for the soul of our nation has never been more serious. God, family, and freedom are unmistakably on the ballot in November, and Georgia Meloni gives us hope that America can overcome those who seek to destroy all three of them.

In her speech to the nation, Italy’s next Prime Minster Georgia Meloni, promised to fight back against the demonic forces that seek to take God out of our lives and ruin the very fabric of the family.

“And so, they attack national identity, they attack religious identity, they attack gender identity, they attack family identity. I can’t define myself as: Italian, Christian, woman, mother. No. I must be citizen x, gender x, parent 1, parent 2. I must be a number. Because when I am only a number, when I no longer have an identity or roots, then I will be the perfect slave at the mercy of financial speculators. The perfect consumer…[But] we will defend it.

“We will defend God, country, and family. Those things that disgust people so much. We will do it to defend our freedom. Because we will never be slaves and simple consumers at the mercy of financial speculators.”

“‘Swords will be drawn to prove that leaves are green in summer.’ That time has arrived. We are ready.”

Newsmax host Greg Price tweeted a portion of Meloni’s speech. In a clear nod of approval, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) retweeted her speech, adding only one word: “spectacular”

Meloni, who has been in the Italian Chamber of Deputies since 2006, has been the star of her country’s conservative movement.

“I am Giorgia, I am a woman, I am a mother, I am Italian, I am Christian,” Giorgia Meloni told supporters in central Rome at a viral rally moment in 2019. “No one will take that away from me.”

The Left, of course, has lost their minds over Meloni’s win. Much like in America, the leftist media is embarrassing themselves with their ridiculous headlines intended to marginalize the woman who just showed them how truly unpopular their views are with the majority in Italy (and around the world).

Conservative Scott Presler nailed it with his response to this headline about how the election of Italy’s “First Woman Prime Minister” is “Putting Women’s Rights in Danger”

“The jokes write themselves” Presler tweeted in response the hilariously hypocritical headline:
