Bill Clinton was admitted to the University of California Irvine Medical Center in California 5 days ago. The 75-year-old hadn’t been feeling well and was admitted after tests revealed he had a urinary tract infection that developed into a blood infection called sepsis. Sepsis can be deadly, but if caught in time, it’s curable. IV antibiotics are given to clear the infection that can have fever symptoms and a high white blood cell count.
