Brittany Aldean, the wife of country music superstar Jason Aldean, posted a controversial Instagram caption on August 23 that sparked a lot of backlash from the woke Left.

Brittany and her husband have never been shy about voicing their political views, both avid supporters of Donald Trump. In January, Jason performed at Mar-a-Lago at Trump’s New Year’s Eve party, and Brittany runs a Conservative clothing line that encourages Right-wingers to be more vocal with their political beliefs.

In the controversial Instagram post, Brittany posted a video of herself doing makeup, with the caption

“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life”

Her husband commented on the video saying, “Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, ’cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”

After this Instagram post, critics immediately attacked Brittany for her views on transgender children, labeling her “transphobic” simply because she doesn’t approve of children being pushed to transition before they are mature enough to make their own decisions.

Country singer Cassadee Pope took aim at Brittany on social media, tweeting,

“You’d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging. But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their “tomboy phase” to someone wanting to transition. Real nice.”

Maren Morris posted a scathing reply, hurling harsh insults at Brittany for having an opposing opinion to her own:

“It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

Candace Owens chimed in, responding to Morris on Twitter, saying,

“It’s easier to not castrate your children. But I guess whatever helps sell bad records.”

In a pathetic attempt to shame Owens, Morris told Owens, who is not in the entertainment industry, that her “Grammy is positively sobbing right now.” The conservative firebrand Candace Owens told Morris she sounded like a 15-yr-old Tik Tok star and to “grow up.”

This isn’t Morris’ first foray into woke politics; less than a month before the 2020 election, MAREN MORRIS bragged about speaking at an “I Will Vote” event with other woke artists on behalf of Basement Biden.

Aldean defended herself against the woke, leftist critics, saying, “Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the guise of love and calling it ‘gender-affirming care,’ is one of the worst evils. I will always support my children and do what I can to protect their innocence.”

Shortly after Morris’ comments, Brittany launched a new Barbie-inspired clothing line. In the announcement of the apparel drop, Brittany said, “Per usual, my words have been taken out of context over the last week. Instead of getting twisted about the twisting of my words, I’ve chosen to bring some good out of it.”

In the fallout of this controversy, Jason Aldean’s public relations firm, the GreenRoom, dropped him from their client list. In a statement released on Thursday, the co-owner of GreenRoom, Tyne Parrish, said,

“Music has always been and remains The GreenRoom’s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason. We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore but will always be big fans of his music – he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.”
