Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, said the move was another sign of cultural capitulation to Islam.

“This is surrender to Shariah,” Geller said on her website Sunday. “To protect women from being brutalized by Muslim migrants, Germany is adopting Shariah rules for the separation of the sexes. Europe seems determined to capitulate to Islamization.”
