Isn’t it shameful that today’s society cheers common sense?

Something as simple as what’s a man and what’s a woman.

The woke, anti-science agenda has such a death grip on the Western world that basic facts earn a thunderous applause.

That’s exactly what happened when United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak defined basic biology.

“It shouldn’t be controversial for parents to know what their children are being taught in school about relationships,” Sunak said.

“Patients should know when hospitals are talking about men or women,” he continued.

“We shouldn’t get bullied into believing that people can be any sex they want to be. They can’t. A man is a man and a woman is a woman. That’s just common sense,” he added.

The crowd applauded Sunak for stating common sense.

CNN reports:

The health minister said transgender patients could be banned from hospital wards that corresponded to their lived gender. Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch railed against trans rights activists, repeating an attack line that Labour MPs don’t “know what a woman is.”

“Trans hospital patients in England will be banned from being treated in female- and male-only wards, under plans announced by the health secretary,” The Guardian noted.

From The Guardian:

In a speech to Conservative activists at the party’s conference in Manchester, Steve Barclay also promised a patient’s request to have intimate care provided by someone of the same biological sex would be respected.

He vowed to update the NHS constitution to give effect to the proposals after consultation, saying the changes would protect the privacy, dignity and safety of all patients.

However, the comments sparked a backlash from moderate Tory MPs, who fear LGBTQ+ people are being targeted as part of a wider culture war designed to appeal to the right of the party.

Jamie Wallis, a Conservative who became the first openly transgender MP last year, said Barclay was grappling with a non-issue.

Wallis cited freedom of information requests submitted to hospital trusts across the UK last year asking whether there were any complaints from biologically female inpatients about trans patients’ presence. None were recorded, according to the website Translucent.

“The issue of biological male sex offenders legally changing their gender has also become an issue in British prisons,” Breitbart noted.

Per Breitbart:

At present, sex offenders are required by law to notify local police of any change to their name within three days, however, the current system relies on self-reporting. According to government sources speaking to The Times of London, Braverman’s legislation will mandate that prosecution is automatically launched against any sex offender who attempts to change their gender.

The Safeguarding Alliance campaign group, which has been a leading force pushing for the ban, which they dubbed “Della’s Law” in reference to a woman who had a convicted sex offender placed in her home as a seven-year-old child as a caregiver after he legally changed his gender.

The chief executive of the group, Emily Konstantas said of the planned legislation: “No longer will the rights of a sex offender be given priority over the protection of societies most vulnerable. This change could not have come quick enough and is the biggest change to safeguarding legislation to date.”
