In light of the Planned Parenthood videos where babies were literally chopped up for their parts (below), this is certainly in your face and sick. Disregard for life and the sanctity of it defines Planned Parenthood…The invitation below was the original invite for the event but after an outcry from pro-life advocates, they took off the meat cleaver and the word ‘chopped’. You would think the Planned Parenthood folks would be more sensitive but then anyone who thinks it’s ok to sell baby parts might not see how wrong it is to have an invite like this. The organizers of the event still have the Food Network show ‘Chopped’ on the Facebook invite:

Please join us on Saturday November 14th at 12 noon for another exciting round of our Bartender Challenge to raise money and offer thanks to Planned Parenthood!

Local bartenders will compete to design craft cocktails from a list of secret ingredients to be assessed by a panel of judges in the style of the popular TV series Chopped. Proceeds from the one of a kind cocktails will benefit Planned Parenthood so don’t hesitate to try each one!

We’re excited to welcome Planned Parenthood volunteers and supporters for an awesome Saturday afternoon filled with stiff drinks and competition!

Come out and help us support an organization that continues to offer personalized high quality care to our surrounding community — no matter what!

Here the Facebook page for this event: CHOPPED BARTENDER CHALLENGEchoppedUpdate to this sick event: The Planned Parenthood powers that be realized just how bad it looks to have a ‘Chopped’ event so they’ve taken off the meat cleaver and the word chopped from the invitation. The event still includes the Food Network show ‘Chopped’ as its focus. Who thought of this? It’s just way too sick!
