Amid a bombardment of censorship, financial, and physical devastation created by the behemoth federal government that got put into high gear in 2020, Americans are buying guns at a “blistering pace.”

As we reported, Democrats fully and openly intend to take your guns, one way or another, through massive unconstitutional legislation.  Whether they intend to force you to give up your guns or simply make owning a gun cost prohibitive or medically prohibitive in some way is yet to be seen.  But, rest assured, they are gleefully examining any way to screw you and take away your rights in very short order.

These people despise your rights because you are their cattle, and cattle don’t have individual liberties.  They know you know this about them and they are afraid, so they want to take away your only means of protection against mass tyranny.

But, it turns out, this is only making more people interested in gun ownership:

Fox News Reports:

“The FBI conducted more than 4.3 million gun background checks in January 2021 – the highest number of checks completed during a single month in the agency’s recorded history – as one expert says the staggering figure indicates a “growing” demand for firearms from the American public.

The FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) completed 4,317,804 total background checks in January of this year, marking the start of 2021 with the highest number of checks conducted in a one-month period, according to agency data. Excluding federal-level checks, such as those conducted for federal law enforcement agents, the bureau conducted 4,288,240 state-level background checks, said Small Arms Analytics and Forecasting Chief Economist Jurgen Brauer.

Gun background checks are indicative of sales trends, though don’t translate directly to the number of unit sales. For example, someone can buy multiple firearms at once and have only one background check conducted.”

Year over year, the increase was astounding:

“The SAAF’s adjusted FBI figures indicate that just over 2.2 million guns were sold in January 2021, a 79% increase from the same month in 2020, Brauer said. 

In a press release provided to Fox News, Brauer said last month “certainly started off with a sales ‘bang’ due to the turmoil surrounding the confirmation and inauguration of Mr. Biden as the new U.S. President.”

Clearly, these people thought Trump would–and did–win the election:

“…It can’t be discounted that many of these background checks for the purchase of a firearm are attributed to threats by the Biden administration to enact the most radical and far-reaching gun control agenda ever proposed,” said Mark Oliva, director of public affairs for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, in an email to Fox News. “Americans are continuing to purchase firearms at a blistering pace.” “

Now, these same people fearing the unconstitutional agenda of Joe Biden are right to be afraid. He has said openly that he is coming for your guns, saying he would absolutely be banning assault rifles.  Yet, the definition of assault rifle is ever-changing and always open to a more broad interpretation–which Biden will undoubtedly use.

Fox News goes on to report that the “blistering” sales were steady throughout the month:

“Three different weeks in January ranked in the FBI’s top 10 highest weeks in terms of NICS firearm background checks, with the weeks of Jan. 11 through Jan. 17 and Jan. 4 through Jan. 10 taking the second and third spots on the chart, FBI data show. The third week, from Jan. 18 through Jan. 24, ranked fifth.

And Friday, Jan. 15 also landed in the Top 10 Highest Days in NICS Firearm Background Check history, ranking No. 9 with 183,264, statistics show.”

So, why is this so important?

It shows that there is a resistance to tyranny and that people are not simply cowering and coalescing around completely unconstitutional tyranny:

“Oliva said the month’s NICS statistics “clearly spell out that the demand of law-abiding Americans to purchase firearms isn’t abating. It is growing.”

“Taken into context that all but one of the top 10 weeks and four other top 10 single-day records occurred during the 2020, when 21 million background checks were conducted, these are a jaw-dropping (sic) figures to start the New Year,” Oliva continued. “Americans are claiming their Second Amendment rights to provide for their own safety in record numbers.””

John Basil Barnhill once said:

“Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.”
