While the leftist media continues the blackout on reporting violence and destruction from BLM and Antifa, the anarchist movement continues.

Seven people were in custody last night after homeless activists, some reportedly armed with hatchets and knives, “forcibly” occupied the lobby and 17 rooms at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia, Wash, according to officials.

Fox News is reporting the activists were with a group calling itself Oly Housing Now. They occupied the hotel in an apparent takeover attempt to demand pandemic housing. The group reserved rooms for Saturday but refused to leave on Sunday.

In a release, City officials said the Olympia Police Department (OPD) received reports that employees felt under threat from the group, and at least one employee was allegedly assaulted. The employees were evacuated from the hotel.

During the invasion, the group chanted “choke and die” to the Olympia police.

Democrats want Americans to be unaware that anti-American forces are doing everything they can to destroy our laws and way of life. In fact, after the November election, Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors demanded that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris prioritize the BLM agenda.

“Without the resounding support of Black people, we would be saddled with a very different electoral outcome,” Cullors wrote in the letter, according to Newsweek. “In short, Black people won this election.”

“Alongside Black-led organizations around this nation, Black Lives Matter invested heavily in this election … We want something for our vote. We want to be heard and our agenda to be prioritized,” she added, per the same report.

Cullors noted that while black people are “reliably Democrat”, the party has not taken an active interest in addressing the needs of the community.

“Up until this point, the United States has refused to directly reckon with the way it devalues Black people and devastates our lives. This cannot continue,” she said.

“Black people can neither afford to live through the vitriol of a Trump-like Presidency nor through the indifference of a Democrat-controlled government that refuses to wrestle with its most egregious and damnable shame,” the letter continued, per Newsweek.

Yet, BLM has called for defunding the police and instead of reinvesting the money into minority communities.

The City of Olympia released a statement on the Red Lion occupation:

The Olympia Police Department (OPD) is in the process of clearing the Downtown Olympia Red Lion Hotel after it was forcibly occupied by a group identified as Oly Housing Now, a homeless activist group. Employees of the hotel have been safely escorted out of the occupied hotel after sheltering in the basement through the afternoon and part of the evening.

At about 11 a.m. today, people inside the Red Lion began calling 911 to report a group was attempting to forcibly take over the hotel. OPD received reports that the employees felt under threat from the group, and that an employee was allegedly assaulted.

Employees reported that some members of the activist group inside the hotel were armed with items such as hatchets, batons, knives and had gasmasks, helmets and goggles apparently in preparation for a confrontation. OPD estimated about 45 members of the group inside and outside of the hotel.

At the time of the occupation, approximately 40 rooms in the hotel were booked with guests who were bystanders to the incident. Those guests sheltered in their rooms during the occupation, and OPD is providing a safe place for them as the hotel is cleared.
