Update: The Denver Police Department has released an update on the fatal shooting of a man attending the ‘Patriot Rally’ in Denver after there was confusion via a Denver Reporter’s eyewitness claim that it was an Antifa supporter who shot the man:

A bodyguard hired by 9News who came to the pro-police “Patriot Rally” in Denver shot and killed a man who sprayed him with bear mace.

9NEWS reports that two men were taken into custody after the shooting. The bodyguard is still in custody, and a producer for the news channel has been released.

A video below shows the victim who had just been harassed by a younger man who kept egging him on. The man is shot off-camera at the end of the video after a confrontation with the bodyguard.

Video of BLM/Antifa, causing a disturbance after the shooting and celebrating, is below. The video of the shooting is also in the clip below.

The Patriot Rally was supposed to be a peaceful rally, unlike the Antifa/BLM riots with violence and destruction, but according to Fox News,  a “Black Lives Matter Anti-Fascist Soup Drive” was also taking place in the Denver park. Some of the groups attending were Denver Communists, Colorado Socialist Revolution, Anon Resistance Movement, W.I.T.C.H. Denver, H.O.E.S (Help on Every Street), and Front Range Mutual Aid Network.

One ‘Patriot Rally’ attendee commented on Twitter to say he was there and that the ‘patriots’ were being harassed the entire time:

“I was there. We were hassled the whole time. We all tried to leave in a group to be protected, but I guess this person was a little behind the rest of us. So Sad! Next time we won’t be so nice!!”

Ambulances responded to the scene. Police said Saturday afternoon, they were working on a homicide investigation.

The video below shows some of the opposition that showed up to hassle the ‘patriots’:
