President Trump just held a Rose Garden ceremony to announce his nominee Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court.
With the backdrop of American flags, President Trump spoke briefly about the accomplishments of Judge Barrett and then introduced her as his nominee:
“She is a woman of unparalleled achievement, towering intellect, sterling credentials, and unyielding loyalty to the Constitution.”

Judge Barrett spoke about family: “I’m used to being in a group of nine–my family.”
She also mentioned Justice Ginsburg to praise her efforts in women’s rights: “She not only broke glass ceilings, she smashed them.”
Democrats should be careful not to overplay their hand on this one, but that’s too much to ask of these radicals.
