Just this afternoon, Mets general manager Brodie Van Wagenen was recorded criticizing MLB commissioner Rob Manfred. Apparently the GM was under the impression that he wasn’t notified the cameras were rolling. Here is what he said with a full transcript provided below the video.

Originally the game was supposed to start at 7:10, however; many MLB games had already been canceled earlier today as players protested racial injustice due to the most recent incident in Kenosha, WI. Hence, the commissioner wanted the players to take to the field, protest in silence, leave, and then begin an hour later. Due to the GM’s comments about the commissioner of the MLB the players can now be seen protesting and then walking off the field and refusing to play. A BLM shirt was then draped over home plate.
