Early Sunday Morning, 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson was killed in a politically motivated hit and run. The incident occurred in McHenry, North Dakota, approximately 120 miles northwest of Fargo, following a street dance. Ellingson noticed he was being followed by 41-year-old Shannon Brandt and called his mom for help.

According to In Forum, Ellingson’s mom told police her son called her shortly before the accident, asking if she knew Brandt. She does know Brandt but does not believe her son knew him.

Brandt called to report that he had run the teen over, alleging the teen was part of a Republican extremist group and had called people to come to get Brandt after a political argument.

Brandt was drunk when he killed Ellingson, according to police,
“He was the one who called 911 to report the crash,” said North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind. He added, “We are still trying to determine what, exactly, transpired at the time of crash and prior to that as well.”

So far, Brandt has been charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident. A family friend has set up a Go-Fund-Me to help cover Ellingson’s funeral expenses.

Joe Biden said: Political violence is never appropriate. Period. But will the Biden DOJ charge Shannon Brandt with a hate crime? Or speak out on this heinous act?

Sadly the justice system in America is no longer motivated by justice but rather by politics.
