Still, it’s obvious in the video below that several members of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team turned their backs as 98-year-old World War II veteran Pete DuPré played the National Anthem on his harmonica. The match between the U.S. and Mexico was the sendoff match for the Olympics in Tokyo but could be the beginning of the end for these activist athletes.
The rendition of our National Anthem is so touching. It’s disgusting to see the players show disrespect for the U.S. when representing us in Tokyo.
