In a stunning report on Thursday night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed that America’s second-largest bank had been secretly offering personal banking information of their customers to the feds. In a report that sounds more like something you’d read in a Russian spy novel, Carlson breaks down the criteria that Bank of America used when searching their customer database for purchases made by customers who may have attended the Stop the Steal rally in DC on January 6, 2020.
Blaze reports – Bank of America, the nation’s second-largest bank serving more than 60 million people, secretly surveilled customers considered to be persons of interest following the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and handed over their private information to federal investigators.
Carlson reported on-air Thursday that his team exclusively obtained evidence that “in the days after the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, Bank of America went through its own customers’ financial and transaction records” at the request of federal law enforcement investigators, searching its databases for “people who fit a specific profile.”
The profile went as follows, according to Carlson: “1. Customers confirmed as transacting, either through a bank account, debit card, or credit card, purchases in Washington, D.C. between 1/5 and 1/6. 2. Purchases made for Hotel/Airbnb RSVPs in DC, VA, and MD after 1/6. 3. Any purchase of weapons or at a weapons-related merchant between 1/7 and their upcoming suspected stay in the D.C. area around Inauguration Day. 4. Airline related purchases since 1/6.”

Of the 211 customers names Bank of America provided to the FBI, only one was actually interviewed. That customer was cleared of any wrongdoing by the FBI.
Is it legal for Bank of America to snoop on its customers without their consent and provide private banking information to the feds? Does Bank of America provide the same level of assistance to federal agents investigating Black Lives Matter looters who destroyed large swaths of major cities? Does Bank of America help police identify and arrest Antifa members who violently attack those who disagree with their radical ideology and destroy storefronts of businesses tied to “evil corporations” (like Bank of America)? Or is Bank of America only interested in helping the feds find Trump supporters who might fit a certain profile? And finally, is this even legal? Outside of pulling their business from the banking giant, is there any legal action Bank of America customers can take now that it’s being reported that they shared their customer’s private banking information? Is there nothing sacred in Joe Biden’s (Barack Obama and Susan Rice’s) new, radical America?
