CNN was just forced to admit that President Trump is the most well-liked president of all time — at least, among Republicans.
A poll asked registered Republicans to name the president they admire the most.
And, 53% said President Trump!
To put it into perspective, that’s almost triple the amount of folks who named Ronald Reagan, and six times more than those who said Abraham Lincoln.

Enten then pointed out polling among Republicans this year showing Trump is more “admired” than past Republican presidents by a big margin.
ADVERTISEMENTAccording to data from Elon University, 53% of Republicans named Trump as the president they most admire. Reagan trailed at 18% and Lincoln was at a distant 8%.
Berman joked the graphic showing Trump being more popular than Reagan and Lincoln is likely flattering enough to eventually reach his desk.
“I feel like this slide might end up on a printout on his desk sometime soon if he hasn’t seen it already,” he said.
CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten broke down the data further in this clip:
This is a huge reality check to both Democrats and Panicans who claim that President Trump’s popularity is slipping.
