Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) appeared on Benny Johnson’s show and said members of Congress are being sexually blackmailed to vote a certain way.

“This is how it works. You’re out of the country or out of town, or you’re at a motel or bar in D.C. And some whatever you’re into, women or men or whatever, comes up and they’re very attractive and they’re laughing at your jokes,” Burchett explained.

“You buy them a drink. Next thing you know, you’re in the motel room with them naked. And next thing you know, you’re about to make a key vote and what happens? Some well-dressed person comes up and whispers in your ear ‘hey man, there’s tapes out on you. Were you at a motel room on whatever with whoever,'” he continued.

“And then you’re like ‘uh oh.’ And [he] said ‘you really ought not be voting for this thing,” he added.

Fox News host Jesse Watters covered Benny Johnson’s interview with Tim Burchett.

Daily Mail reports:

GOP Rep. Tim Burchett claimed ‘good conservatives’ are voting for ‘crazy stuff’ in Congress because there are sex tapes on them and they are being blackmailed.

In the wild new interview Burchett, R-Tenn., echoed comments made by former Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C. last year that left him essentially blackmailed by his own party.

Burchett explained that ‘powerful people’ who ‘write the big checks’ are behind blackmailing schemes to protect their portfolios.

‘Why in the world would good conservatives vote for crazy stuff like what we’ve been seeing out of Congress?’ he went on.

Burchett was speaking with Johnson about “Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s requests for the Jeffrey Epstein flight logs and client lists to be released only to be met with silence,” Daily Mail noted.

“I travel with my husband at all times. If he cannot come with me, I have a female staffer as an alibi. I don’t even touch alcohol in DC. DC can be a nasty place. Keep your circle tight and just anticipate you’re always being watched. That is how this game operates,” Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) commented.

According to Newsweek, Burchett said many of his “colleagues” would be implicated in the Jeffrey Epstein flight logs.

Talking on The Chris Salcedo Show on Newsmax on Monday, Burchett addressed what he called Congress’ reluctance to release the crucial information about Epstein’s infamous “Lolita Express.” The plane was used by the billionaire pedophile to ferry young women between New York and Epstein’s Palm Beach residence, as it emerged from the case against his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

During the trial in late 2021, Lawrence Paul Visoski Jr., a former pilot for Epstein who worked for the dead pedophile for 25 years, testified that he had flown Epstein “every four days” since he was hired in 1991.
