Democrat Cori Bush was asked about the comments she made (see below) regarding spending $70k on security and then in the same breath saying we need to defund the police.

Her attempt at damage control on CNN’ State of the Union is one for the books. She was asked about her comments then proceeded to dodge the question entirely. The closest she got to answering was to say criticism about her private security is a “comms” (communications) issue. She doubled down to say “defunding the police has to happen.”

She wants no protection for citizens but wants to spend huge amounts of money on HER security?
