What conservative hasn’t dreamt of ousting Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House? Her tenure has been riddled with snark and bitterness. Who could forget when she ripped up President Trump’s State of the Union address? What a hateful thing to do.

The Democrats are apparently worried that Pelosi won’t be voted in again as Speaker of the House. They think it’s a real possiblity that the coronavirus could cost Pelosi her job. Since Democrats are facing a far narrower majority next year, there is a fear that if the coronavirus hits Dems in Congress, it could spell doom for Pelosi’s leadership.

“Let’s say, just theoretically, we had six or eight people out with COVID, and the Republicans have none. They probably could elect McCarthy.” – Democrat Rep. John Yarmuth.

If Pelosi’s caucus gets sick with coronavirus and doesn’t show up, she could be denied the leadership position. That’s not the only problem.  During her last run for Speaker, 15 House Democrats voted against her.

Three Democrats have all said they intend to oppose Pelosi’s reelection as Speaker of the House: Pennsylvania’s Conor Lamb, Maine’s Jared Golden, and Michigan’s Elissa Slotkin.

The era of Nancy Pelosi screams for term limits. D.C. should never be a place where politicians spend this much time in power. She’s lost her sense of who she works for and has been a sell-out to lobbyists and corporations. We The People deserve so much better!
