Essence Magazine, who targets a primarily black audience, is asking their readers to vote for future lawmakers because of how much melanin they have in their skin, but that’s not all, they’d also like you to make the genitalia of the candidate you vote for in the midterm elections a priority. Why bother with a candidate’s qualifications? According to Essence, a candidate’s ability to lead our nation and make critical decisions that affect the lives of Americans can now be determined at birth.

Speaking of birth, every day, 900 black babies are killed via abortion in America. Isn’t it odd, that Essence Magazine is asking their readers to support 59 black female candidates, most of whom support the genocide of innocent black babies in America? Essence would also like their readers to overlook a host of abhorrent behaviors from a list of 59 black, female candidates. From calling on supporters to threaten members of President Trump supporters, to burning their state’s flag, to voting against making the Muslim religious practice of FGM or Female Genital Mutilation, a felony in their state, voters should “Trust Black Women”, because according to Essence Magazine, they’re ready to “demand that this nation reckon with white supremacist capitalist patriarchy that this nation was founded upon”, in its place.

In their recent article, Essence is asking their readers to ignore the records of the candidates they’re pushing and to just “Trust Black Women”…

 “Trust Black women.”

Trust the Black women who have experienced—and continue to experience—the ugliest that this nation has to offer and still survive.

Trust the Black women who have experienced interracial, intraracial, and state sexual violence, but still believe that empowered, whole, and healthy Black communities can change the world.

Trust the Black women who demand that this nation reckon with the white supremacist capitalist patriarchy that this nation was founded upon if we are serious about reimagining a world in which demanding justice and equity for all is not a radical concept, but an expected one.

While Black women in leadership roles are imperative, cosmetic diversity is not enough. Voters also need to be informed about a candidate’s politics, their values, and who and what they are willing to fight for and against.

In honor of Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman elected to serve in the U.S. Congress (1968) and the first Black person—and woman—to seek a major political party’s nomination for president of the United States (1972), ESSENCE presents The Chisholm List.

MN Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar is one of the women endorsed by Essence.

Omar, who’s running for a seat in the US Congress, that fellow Muslim and accused domestic abuser, DNC vice chair, Rep. Keith Ellison is vacating to run for Attorney General in Minnesota. Omar was recently called out for allegedly marrying her own brother.

In 2016, two Minnesota journalists — Scott Johnson of Powerline and Preya Samsundar of AlphaNewsMN — researched an anonymous tip about Ilhan Omar. The tipster had presented evidence that Omar married her brother in 2009, and was still legally his wife as of 2016. The tipster had also asserted that Omar may have done it to help her brother commit immigration fraud. Further, the tipster had noted that Omar has been “culturally” married to, and living with, a second man since 2002 — the father of her three children.

Her brother was a British citizen. “As soon as Ilhan Omar married him,” the post continues, “he started university at her [a]lma mater North Dakota State University where he graduated in 2012. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Minneapolis where he was living in a public housing complex and was later evicted. He then returned to the United Kingdom where he now lives.”

Simple online searches of public civil records and social media immediately proved parts of the story to be true.

Samsundar discovered additional compelling evidence, and even managed to get in touch with the apparent husband/brother, who currently lives in London. He proceeded to talk himself into a pickle trying to answer Samsundar’s questions.

For doing their jobs admirably, Johnson and Samsundar were subsequently labeled “Islamophobes” and bigots. Omar’s own representatives lashed out with such comments.

Read the entire incredible story of Omar’s alleged marriage to her brother here.

Omar, who also voted against making FGM a felony in the state of MN, proudly tweeted a link to the Essence article here.

In 2012, Omar tweeted this disgusting anti-Jewish tweetIsrael has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.

Maxine Waters is another candidate Essence is asking its readers to support. Waters has become the face of resistance against President Trump and his supporters, as she famously called for her supporters to threaten President Trump and his supporters whenever they’re spotted in public places. Watched the unhinged Representative calling our President a LIAR and for his impeachment, suggesting the way to hurt him is by going after anyone who supports him.

Essence magazine is also endorsing the entitled public servant, Democrat Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, whose intern was recently arrested for doxing sitting US Senators who voted to support Justice Kavanaugh,

Jackon Lee kicked a female passenger out of her first class on a commercial flight, using her status as a US Rep as a reason why she should fly first class over a common citizen. Jackson later called her a “racist” for making a big deal about it.

On October 3, 2018, an intern working for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) A Democratic intern for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was arrested by U.S. Capitol Police and accused of releasing the personal information of Senator Orrin Hatch, Lindsey Graham, and Mike Lee.  Jackson Cosko, 27, was arrested and charged with a laundry list of things (see below) related to the doxing of the Senators.

Stacey Abrams recently called for the removal of an amazing Confederate carving on the side of a mountain, apparently doing her part to live up to Essence’s requirement, by demanding that “this nation reckon with the white supremacist capitalist patriarchy that this nation was founded upon.”
