Before Elon Musk’s buyout, Twitter clearly had vague standards on what was considered acceptable to publish on its platform. While the company attempted to appear neutral, the social media giant targeted conservative viewpoints and users. But things are changing, and Twitter is becoming a beacon for free speech.

On Monday, Elon Musk said Twitter’s internal files on the company’s “free-speech suppression” would be coming to light soon, indicating that Twitter’s censorship of the explosive story surrounding Hunter Biden’s laptop will be exposed. It may also explain details around a suppressed New York Post story published shortly before the 2020 Presidential elections that went viral on social media before being hidden and systematically removed from Twitter. The story detailed meetings between Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, and a Ukrainian energy firm before then-Vice President Biden pressured Ukrainian government officials to fire the prosecutor probing the company. As a result, the story was seen as evidence of political corruption inside the Biden family and was quickly censored. According to the Epoch Times, The New York Post’s Twitter account was even suspended following the story.

“The Twitter Files on free speech suppression soon to be published on Twitter itself. The public deserves to know what really happened …” Musk tweeted late Monday.

And despite the left’s active desperation to harm Musk, his Twitter user base is growing. Musk tweeted, “Twitter added 1.6 million daily active users this past week, another all-time high.”

When Elon Musk took over Twitter, large corporations decided they would no longer advertise on the social media site. Audi and General Mills joined companies like Pfizer and Oreo maker- Mondelez in a desperate attempt to push back on Musk and his allegiance to free speech principles.

In the latest attempt to squash free speech, Apple may try to keep Twitter off the app store. According to Musk, “Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us why.”

Musk went on to tweet a poll demanding Apple “publish all censorship actions it has taken that affect its customers.”
Eighty-Five percent of the over 2 million voters agree that “yes” Apple should publish their censorship.

It has become standard for the left to suppress the truth without accountability. But with Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, free speech is opening doors for Americans to examine the country’s corporate and governmental corruption robustly.
