Federal authorities are searching for the “Bad Wig Bandit” bank robber who is targeting North Carolina banks.
It’s believed that the bandit has robbed three banks in the Charlotte area in just a few weeks.
What sets him apart from your average bank robber is the different wigs he wears to each crime.

On Dec. 13, 2019, the “Bad Wig Bandit” robbed a bank wearing a blonde wig.
The Huntersville, North Carolina Police Department also said he was wearing a multi-colored shirt and high heels during the robbery.
