A stunning video posted on Twitter by US Rep. Maya Flores shows US Border agents fighting, tackling, and ultimately arresting smugglers on the US border near the San Diego sector. The video is a stark reminder of the dangers our US Border agents are placed in every single day by Joe Biden’s reckless open border policies.

The video begins with a San Diego Sector Border Patrol agent holding an unidentified migrant on the ground after he appears to have illegally crossed from Mexico. The migrant is covered in sand, indicating there may have been a scuffle. However, it is not clear when this incident took place.

Maya Flores, Congresswoman for the 34th District of Texas, posted on Twitter:

Border Patrol Agents assigned to San Diego Sector tackle and arrest suspected smugglers at the border.

In April, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) warned that the Mexican drug cartels have taken over our borders:

“Cartels have operational control of our border. Period. Anybody who’s following it knows that. Tamaulipas, the state right across the border from Texas, is run by the dangerous cartels, the Reynosa faction of the Gulf Cartel, and the Cartel del Noreste of Los Zetas. They are using human beings as shields for profit. They’re moving people into Texas, into our communities, into San Antonio, which I represent. We’ve stopped vehicles with human beings being sent to stash houses in Houston to be used for profit and human trafficking and sex trafficking.”

Watch:

Only last week, we reported about the escalation of the war waged by Mexican cartels erupting on our southern border.

Tijuana, Mexico, is seeing a wave of cartel-related violence and riots so bad that the consulate warned Americans to shelter in place as the Mexican National Guard steps in to restore law and order.

On the south side of the California border, Tijuana, Mexico, is experiencing a deadly wave of violence and rioting. The United States Consulate in Tijuana has warned American employees to shelter in place until further notice as the cartels battle in the streets.

From Zero Hedge:

The violence began in Ciudad Juarez, a Mexican city on the Rio Grande, just south of El Paso, Texas, with a prison battle between two rival cartels that left eleven people dead — then the chaos spread outside into the streets of the city.

By the weekend, the violence moved west, warranting the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana to advise Americans to shelter in place after a sudden eruption of violence.

The cartels are carrying out coordinated strikes in Tijuana as the conflict continues to heat up on our southern border with Mexico.

Vehicles and storefronts are burning as individuals are warned not to go out past 10:00 pm.

The apparent turf war has even gotten so bad that the US border was shut down by hijacked vehicles.

Hundreds of Mexican National Guardsmen were brought in to try and restore order to the popular tourist destination.

The Jalisco New Generation Cartel threatened anyone they saw out on the streets in Northern Baja, California.

“Be warned. As of Friday at 10 p.m. through Sunday at 3 a.m., we’re going to create mass chaos, so the [expletive] government frees our people. We’re the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, we don’t want to hurt good people, but it’s best they don’t go outside; we’re going to attack anyone we see on the streets on these days,”  the group warned.

The ongoing civil unrest and destruction in Tijuana may even exacerbate the current border crisis. An all-out war between the cartels or between the state and the cartels will surely cause people to flee north.
