How low can the left go? These days…very low!

A disgusting incident happened recently after an Illinois State Police (ISP) officer purchased a large black coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts in Chicago.

“Due to the coffee being extremely hot, the Trooper removed the lid from the top of the cup to cool it down.”

Luckily, the officer removed the lid because he discovered something odd floating in his cup.

The officer discovered a “large, thick piece of mucus which was later confirmed to be saliva in his coffee.”

ABC News reported that the Dunkin’ Donuts on Archer Avenue in Chicago was the scene of the incident.

“Due to the coffee being extremely hot, the Trooper removed the lid from the top of the cup to cool it down,” the Illinois State Police said in a statement.

The Illinois State Police immediately opened an investigation into the incident. It concluded with the arrest of Vincent J. Sessler, a 25-year-old Dunkin’ Donuts employee who is now in custody.

The Illinois State Police Director: “This is outrageous and disgusting. The men and women of the Illinois State Police put their heart and soul into protecting the lives and rights of all people in this state every day. They deserve better than this insulting and dangerous treatment.”

ISP Director Kelly also said the officers would be banned from patronizing that Dunkin’ Donuts location for their own safety.
