Can someone please explain to me what Mike Pence hopes to gain?

The man is on a national tour of destroying his own credibility.

Following President Donald Trump’s latest indictment, Pence weighed in on the 2020 election, specifically giving his take on what happened in Georgia:

“The Georgia election was not stolen and I had no right to overturn the election on Jan. 6,” stated Pence.

The failing presidential candidate also climbed back up on his high horse and said, “No one is above law.”

Are there ANY good republican candidates for 2024 not named Donald Trump?

Fox News has more from the former vice president:

In his first comments since Monday night’s indictment of former President Donald Trump on 13 counts related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia, former Vice President Mike Pence reiterated that the election was not stolen.

“Despite what the former president and his allies have said for now more than two and a half years and continue to insist… the Georgia election was not stolen and I had no right to overturn the election on Jan. 6,” the former vice president emphasized while speaking in front of a large gathering of state lawmakers meeting in Indianapolis at the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Pointing to his former running mate, Pence said “no one is above law.”

“And the president and all those implicated are entitled to the presumption of innocence,” he added.

The indictment from federal prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia, accused the former president of “knowingly and willfully join[ing] a conspiracy” with a large group, including some of his former top aides, “to change the outcome of the election.”

Georgia was one of a half dozen states that President Biden narrowly carried to defeat Trump’s 2020 re-election bid.

Politico also reported on Pence’s comments, including his strategy for winning over Trump voters:

“No one is above law,” Pence added. “And the president and all those implicated are entitled to the presumption of innocence.”

In response to a question from an audience member about how he might win over Trump voters, Pence said “I hope he comes” to next week’s debate. He referenced his experience in the 2020 vice presidential debate, saying the plexiglass wall that separated him from Kamala Harris “wasn’t even tall enough to stop a fly.”

Trump has not yet announced whether he’ll attend the debate after declining to sign the RNC’s debate pledge.

Seriously Mike..

What has any of this done for you?
