There has been a huge increase in illegal alien families crossing our border this year with an increase of nearly three times the previous record for families. That’s 450,000 illegals!

They are mostly released into the interior of the US to wait for their court date to claim asylum. This is typically called “catch-and-release.”

The government incentivizes illegals to come when they release illegals with just a court date that could be months or years from now.

This is why it’s so important to end “catch and release”. It causes people to do dumb things like bring an infant across the desert to try and get into the US.

Yes, that’s just what one dad did to his six-month-old daughter:

According to Fox News, a six-month-old girl is in critical condition at a Texas hospital after U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents apprehended her, her father and 21 other people who illegally crossed the Rio Grande into the United States, officials said Saturday.

A CBP spokesperson said the group was apprehended three miles west of the Roma Port of Entry at around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. The father and his daughter were taken to the Rio Grande Valley Sector’s Central Processing Center in McAllen, where medical staff said the child should be treated at a hospital.

This is NOT a rare occasion. Just recently, a three-year-old was swept away trying to cross:

Young children have become collateral and have been used as pawns to get into the US. It’s the immigration policy that needs to change ASAP so children aren’t trafficked back and forth across the border by illegal aliens.

TRUMP’S NEW MOVE TO STOP CATCH AND RELEASE:

OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON THE TRAFFICKING OF KIDS ACROSS THE BORDER:

Hollywood, mainstream media and Democrat lawmakers have been unfairly blaming President Trump and his administration for ripping immigrant families apart at our southern border.

Only two days ago, the far-left New York Times propagandized about the evil Trump administration’s separation of immigrant families on the border.

On Mother’s Day, Democrat Rep. Barbara Lee (CA), took to Twitter to unfairly blame President Trump for his “inhumane family separation policy.”

Last week, the Trump administration announced a new policy to combat the sickening exploitation of children on the southern border by human traffickers, and liberals are furious.

AZ Central reports – Under an Immigration and Customs Enforcement pilot program, illegal immigrant children and the adults claiming to be their parents will have their DNA tested to verify kinship when agents suspect fraud.

Human traffickers – often called “coyotes” – have learned the weaknesses of our immigration system. They know that “family units” are difficult to detain or deport, especially compared to the single men who used to make up the bulk of their clientele.

As a result, children are seen as an easy “ticket” into America.

Coyotes are using families as a ruse

But these putative “family units” are often nothing more than a ruse put on by the coyotes to circumvent the American legal system.

In the worst cases, children are being “recycled” — abducted by human traffickers to be used over and over again so that adults can pose as their parents and gain easier access to the U.S. These children are vulnerable to the worst excesses of the sex trade, in addition to being forced to repeatedly undergo the grueling journey across the border in the care of adults who have no vested interest in their well-being.

As a result, children are seen as an easy “ticket” into America.

The Daily Mail reports that an Immigration and Customs Enforcement pilot of new rapid DNA testing at the border has found that nearly a third of those tested were not biologically related to the children in their custody.

ICE conducted the pilot for a few days earlier this month in El Paso and McAllen, Texas, finding about 30 percent of those tested were not related to the children they claimed were their own, an official told the Washington Examiner.

The official said that these were not cases of step-fathers or adoptive parents.

‘Those were not the case. In these cases, they are misrepresented as family members,’ the official said.

It is unclear whether every family unit was tested during the pilot or only those who raised some sort of red flag. An ICE spokesman did not immediately respond to request for comment.

The official said that some migrants did refuse the test and admit that they were not related to the children they were with when they learned their claim would be subjected to DNA proof.

ICE said the Department of Homeland Security would look at the results of the pilot to determine whether to roll out rapid DNA tests more broadly.

After President Donald Trump’s administration backpedaled on ‘family separation’ in the face of enormous backlash last summer, the number of family units arriving at the southern border has skyrocketed.

Current U.S. law and policy means that Central Americans who cross the border illegally with children can claim asylum and avoid any lengthy detention in most cases.
