Yesterday and earlier today, the media and their allies in Hollywood trashed President Trump for not traveling overseas to be with our troops for Christmas.
While they were trashing President Trump for obviously ignoring our troops, our commander-in-chief and First Lady Melania were actually en route to Iraq to visit our brave military members.
President Trump also brought along his awesome press secretary Sarah Sanders, who captured a very special moment that she shared with her Twitter followers.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted an awesome story of a soldier who, upon meeting President Trump, relayed an emotional story to him. Sarah happened to be standing by the brave soldier when the incident took place, so she tweeted about it to share his story with the world.
Along with some great photos, Sanders tweeted:
Powerful moment – Member of United States Army told the President he came back into the military because of him. And President Trump responded, “And I am here because of you.” I met him after and he gave me the patch from his arm. Incredible. #TrumpTroopsVisit

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that our troops don’t love their current commander-in-chief, Donald J. Trump.
The troops can be seen in the video below, as they go wild after their commander-in-chief and First Lady Melania Trump take the stage to greet them, chanting: USA! USA! USA!
