It could happen this week! President Trump was getting pressured by the Republican Party to declassify documents covering the United States government’s surveillance of Carter Page and Bruce Ohr.

Carter Page is a Trump campaign advisor.

Bruce Ohr is a senior Justice Department lawyer.

The pressure on Trump was by those who are reportedly his allies and it looks like they’re digging into the investigative activities of Ohr and what else Page was up to.

The reason for the declassified documents is likely so it will ruin the investigation into the alleged relationship and collusion between Trump and Russia. While nothing has really been found yet, some believe that declassifying these documents will show that the investigation was “illegitimate” and therefore pointless and a huge waste of time. Of course, many already believe that as we’re still wondering what the point of all the “Russia Russia Russia” nonsense really is.

Trump has said for ages that the investigation is illegitimate, although he may have used different wording in his version of denouncing the investigations entirely.

It’s reported, by Axios, that they’re alleging Bruce Ohr was “an improper intermediary role between the Justice Department, British spy Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS — the opposition research firm that produced the Trump-Russia dossier, funded by Democrats.”

It should be noted that since 2015, until just after the election, Bruce Ohr’s wife, Nellie, worked for Fusion GPS as a Russian expert. It’s alleged that she was handling “Russia-related matters” during the 2016 election for president. This is also something that Bruce Ohr reportedly did not disclose on federal forms, something that he probably should’ve noted.

Further allegations claim that the Obama administration spied on Carter Page, improperly and as a method of taking down now President Trump.

House Freedom Caucus chairman Mark Meadows is close to President Trump. Meadows spoke with Axios and stated, “After two years of investigations and accusations from both sides of the aisle about what documents indicate, it is past time for documents to be declassified and let the American people decide for themselves if DoJ and FBI acted properly.”

President Trump has been wanting to declassify documents to in hopes to dismantle the Russian investigations.

Is this the week that it finally happens?

Will these declassified documents relative to Carter Page and Bruce Ohr have a huge impact?
