We recently reported that James O’Keefe of Project Veritas is suing Twitter for defamation after they took down his Twitter account earlier this month. Twitter accuses him of operating a fake account, which O’Keefe flatly states is a defamatory lie.

Now, in an interview, today with Maria Bartiromo, O’Keefe says he cannot wait to officially depose Jack Dorsey under oath in a court of law. This is because they have already reported on major stories showing that many players in Big Tech like Twitter and Google were openly trying to affect elections through their companies’ policies.
“For those of you who think I am bluffing or these lawsuits don’t matter, Project Veritas has never lost a lawsuit in our corporate history because we don’t settle. We fight all the way to a jury verdict”
“We want to depose Jack Dorsey under oath. We want to put these people through depositions” to understand “what was going through their mind when they maliciously lied about me.”
But, O’Keefe wasn’t done there. He plans to go further on the offensive against another media source that you might know.
“…Tomorrow, I will sue CNN for defamation…I will win just like we have win every other lawsuit” for alleging Project Veritas and James O’Keefe were “spreading disinformation,” despite the fact that no one is accusing O’Keefe or Veritas of doing that.
So, this isn’t about section 230. These lawsuits are all about good old fashioned liable laws, which require a large burden of proof to win, including malice.
To that end, O’Keefe stated emphatically “I will meet that burden” of proof to win the lawsuit. Section 230 “will not protect them from me. You cannot have a reckless disregard for the truth.”
