Nancy Pelosi held her weekly press conference today where she literally behaved like a stubborn child. So much for compromise from the Democrats.

Remember the Democrats asked for a solution to DACA but once they were given the opportunity for a solution, they declined it. The truth is that Pelosi and other key Democrats don’t want a compromise with President Trump. Remember when Pelosi said in a speech in January (see video below)  that Trump’s immigration policy is an effort to “make America white again”. She actually said that this is what the founders would want. Let’s face it, the Democrats want open borders risking our sovereignty and our safety.

Will Nancy Pelosi’s effort to play hardball with Trump prove to be a mistake? We hope so.

Reporter asks Nancy Pelosi: “Would you be willing to support some degree of wall funding if you got a permanent bona fide solution on DACA?

Nancy Pelosi: ‘No”

THE SPEECH FROM JANUARY WHERE NANCY TALKS ABOUT “OUR DREAMERS”

Addressing the United States Conference of Mayors, Nancy Pelosi promoted illegal immigration, sanctuary cities and so-called “Dreamers.” Attendees applauded Pelosi when she said she wanted to protect “our Dreamers.”

After spewing what seemed like a stream of consciousness about the budget debate, she said, “While I’m on the subject of Dreamers … (Trump’s) plan is a campaign to make America white again.”

American Mirror reports:

There was no applause. Only silence.

Pelosi said immigration will be cut, “many people” will be deported.

She said by allowing illegals to stay, they are “honoring the vows of our founders.”

“With these values, these newcomers make America more American,” Pelosi said.

She asserted Trump’s immigration plan is “changing the character of our country.

“They bring a tear to the eye of the Statue of Liberty and they bring fear to the hearts of people who are here playing by the rules,” she said.

Pelosi said it’s a “fight about who we are.”

“My goodness, it any country in the world got up and said ‘We’re going to send 800,000 young people who came with their parents back to where they came from,’ we’d say that country is outside the circle of civilized human behavior,” Pelosi said.

The House Minority Leader went on to call Trump’s idea to trade funding for the border wall for DACA a “ransom.”

Pelosi defended sanctuary cities, claiming they “help law enforcement.”

NO COMPROMISE:

Nancy’s playing hardball with your right to bear arms too:

Democrats will take control of the House soon but Nancy Pelosi is already trying to get a grip on your guns. She was speaking at her weekly press conference and started in with talk of gun control.

Oh, it’s going to be bipartisan too…

She’s off her rocker if she thinks this will happen and that it will be bipartisan.

Several states like New Jersey (see below) are doing everything they can to limit gun and ammo ownership, and now Pelosi wants to get the feds involved too. No way will this happen!

PELOSI: House “will pass common-sense gun violence prevention legislation soon, and that will be bipartisan.”

Did you notice how scattered Pelosi’s thoughts are? She clearly can’t remember details and names so she skims around them.

This woman might seem harmless but don’t forget she’s the one who claimed “you have to see what’s in it” when we got Obamacare.

She’s been around the block many times and knows how to work in D.C. to get her way.

One way the left is trying to infringe on your right to bear arms is to limit ammo by banning high capacity magazines:

In fact, a federal appeals court just upheld New Jersey’s law limiting gun magazine capacity:

Via Washington Times:

The state law, passed earlier this year, permits no more than 10 rounds to be held within a firearm. It exempts active duty members of the military and the police, as well as retired law enforcement officers, permitting them to carry semi-automatic handguns that hold 15 rounds of ammunition.

“New Jersey’s law reasonably fits the state’s interest in public safety and does not unconstitutionally burden the Second Amendment’s right to self-defense in the home,” wrote 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Patty Shwartz, an Obama-appointee.

A group of gun rights advocates challenged the law and had sought an injunction, saying it banned a whole category of firearms.

But the court, in a 2-1 ruling, said that wasn’t true. Judge Shwartz said a limit on magazines, doesn’t take any guns out of Americans’ hands, and said it also doesn’t limit the number of rounds available. Someone could still purchase three 10-round magazines, giving them the equivalent of two now-banned 15-round magazines.

The court said New Jersey had a valid public safety interest that change.

“The record demonstrates that when there are pauses in shooting to reload or for other reasons, opportunities arise for victims to flee, as evidenced by the 2017 Las Vegas and 2013 D.C. Navy Yard shootings… or for bystanders to intervene, as in the 2018 Tennessee Waffle House shooting and 2011 Arizona shooting involving Representative Gabrielle Giffords,” the court ruled.

Judge Stephanos Bibas, a Trump appointee, dissented, saying the state didn’t meet its burden of proof to show the law was necessary.
