Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh is getting slammed by all ends of the media right now. He’s facing one of the biggest character assassinations that I can ever remember in a what appears to be a massive smear campaign by Democrats looking to undermine the work of President Trump and basically attack anyone he selects for just about anything.

This guy can’t catch a break and he’s being dragged into a huge mess that all appears to be a big project by Democrats to take him down. Of course, it seems that way based on the evidence and incidents going on thus far. Everything with Christine Blasey Ford, that other accuser (whose name I left out because there’s nothing credible in her story, even less credible than Ford’s), and the Democratic Party seem to be attempting to push Kavanaugh to the edge in hopes that he quits or they turn a few confirmation votes against him.

Now the police department in Maryland’s Montgomery County is getting involved and they’ve issued a statement on what’s going on.

Their latest statement regarding the alleged victims and their accusations pertaining to Kavanaugh and his accuser/s is in full, below.

Statement from the Montgomery County Police Department Regarding Victim Accusations of Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh:

At this time, the Montgomery County Police Department has not received a request by any alleged victim nor a victim’s attorney to initiate a police report or a criminal investigation regarding Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

The Department recognizes that victims of sexual assault may not want to involve law enforcement and/or initiate a criminal investigation, and we respect that position. The Department, however, stands prepared to assist anyone who reports being the victim of a sexual assault.

Typically, in a sexual assault case, the cooperation of the victim or witnesses is necessary. As with any criminal investigation, a determination must be made as to the jurisdiction where the alleged offense occurred and the specific details of the event to establish a potential criminal charge.

Our Department is ready to investigate any claim of sexual assault that is alleged to have occurred within our County.

Here’s where that gets murky. If there’s an accusation of sexual assault, then why did Christine Blasey Ford go to Diane Feinstein instead of the police? If there’s a second accuser, then why didn’t that person go to the police? Sounds a bit weird, right?

Here is the police department, the one likely to receive the call, who is saying that 1) no one has filed any reports of said alleged crimes, and 2) they’re ready to do the work if needed.

This is why we cannot just outright believe someone’s accusations from that many years ago without substantial evidence. Had there been a police report from three decades ago, then there would be something concrete that people could utilize. But there’s nothing. There is just the word of the accuser vs the word of the accused, and right about now the accused is looking very innocent.

Based on everything that’s going on with Ford and her accusations and her inability to locate a credible witness who supports her claims, there’s just nothing going on there that’s worth looking at Kavanaugh differently.

How can you destroy a man’s character with wild accusations like this?

Based on the lack of evidence and what looks to be a massive character take-down plot by the Democrats, I can only imagine this circus gets more bizarre before someone finally shuts the door and proceeds with the confirmation of Kavanaugh.

Bill Cosby was found guilty for crimes done many years ago, but how many actual witnesses were there? Quite a few. It’s one thing to have that many people telling the same story about his alleged sexual misconduct and it’s easier to find him guilty.

However, Christine Blasey Ford is just one person with a slightly shakey story, no witnesses, and basically no one to vouch for her story that it even happened. Her collaboration with Democrats puts an extra damper on it as well.

I don’t know about you, but when someone commits a crime, then I would call the police – not the politicians 30+ years later.

Calling the police makes sense.

Calling a politician does not.

What’s really going on here?
