President Trump formally announced that he will run for President in 2024 at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Tuesday night.

The President was accompanied by former First Lady Melania Trump during his announcement.

The announcement was confirmed just moments ago as FEC forms were filed that read ‘Donald Trump for President 2024’

Trump spent much of his announcement hitting on the failures of the Biden administration.  discussing Biden’s foreign policy that he said has made America less safe and less respected abroad.

He also criticized the Republican Party for failing to convince voters of the stakes of the midterm elections.

Anticipation was high at Mar-A-Lago leading up to President Trump’s event as supporters flocked to his Florida home eagerly awaiting the announcement.

The event was attended by members of the press and allies who are expected to support him in what could be a contentious primary in 2024 if high-profile Republicans such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis throw their hat in the ring.

One prominent Trump supporter who was present at the announcement claimed that CNN was “getting an earful” from the President’s supporters.

Trump has already been preparing for his 2024 Presidential bid, amassing a nearly $100 million war chest that he will likely use to set the narrative early against potential contenders.
