Vice President Kamala Harris tasked teenage women with defending abortion ‘rights’ in the United States during a Teen Vogue interview on Monday.

The interview was given on the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v Wade, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

Harris called Republicans ‘extremists’ for wanting to regulate abortion and said that she was ‘counting on’ younger generations to defend access to abortion.

She also expressed hopes that if Democrats retake both chambers of Congress and keep a Democratic President they could codify abortion ‘rights’ in to federal law, which is something she said young voters have to contribute to.

Harris also told teenagers to pressure their friends in to voting for Democrats and pro-abortion causes and to use their social media to advocate for abortion.

“Also, use your voice through your social media to remind people who are going through struggles, maybe unwanted pregnancies, to know that they are not alone and that there’s help available to them,” she said.

Kamala Harris has spearheaded the Biden administration’s pro-abortion agenda and regularly meets with leaders of the abortion industry.

Harris has had double digit negative approval ratings for most of her tenure as Vice President.

According to poll aggregator 538, she currently has a net negative approval rating of 10.9 percent, with 40.7 percent of Americans approving of her job performance and 51.6 percent of Americans disapproving.

Breitbart Reports

Vice President Kamala Harris charged up-and-coming young voters with pushing Democrats’ abortion-on-demand agenda in an exclusive interview with Teen Vogue.

The outlet reported that Harris gave an exclusive interview on the Dobbs anniversary because she “want[s] the readers of Teen Vogue to know that [they] are leaders.” Harris spoke with the outlet via phone after giving a Dobbs anniversary speech in North Carolina on Saturday, where she bemoaned the end of Roe v. Wade and called pro-life Republicans “extremists.”

“You are leaders by virtue of the fact that you are reading this. And I’m counting on you because your voice and your perspective is so important to the future of our country,” Harris continued, ostensibly addressing Teen Vogue‘s target audience: teenagers.
