EDITOR’S NOTE: We don’t use the word “Bombshell” around here too much, because we like to save it for rare occasions so it doesn’t lose it’s impact. This is one such occasion. This is a bombshell. And it feels just like 2016 all over again. Remember when President Trump said they “tapped his wires” and the Legacy Media all mocked him? Then he was proven 100% right? This is the exact same thing playing out with Lake. And this should be a career ending scandal for anyone in the GOP who was involved.
It looks like Kari Lake wasn’t embellishing when she came out to tell the world that she was bribed to stay out of politics for one election cycle.
Leaked audio has revealed that Jeff DeWit, Arizona’s ranking Republican official, attempted to bribe Lake to end her race for Arizona’s State Senate prematurely.
DeWit can be heard on audio telling Lake that ‘powerful people’ just don’t want her running and then making an offer to drop out.
Of course, being the MAGA firebrand that she is, Lake refused and disclosed the information to the public.
Hopefully, DeWit will mend his ways and stop doing the bidding of the political establishment, but I doubt this will happen.

Two sources confirmed DeWit’s identity as the speaker.
He and his press secretary did not respond to multiple requests for comment. Lake’s office also did not respond.
At the time of their conversation, Lake was publicly mulling a run for the U.S. Senate.
