Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) announced while on “Fox & Friends” that he plans to take a DNA test. He believes that he can “beat” Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in a competition of who has more Cherokee heritage.

“I’ve been told that my grandmother was part Cherokee Indian. It may all be just talk, but you’re gonna find out in a couple of weeks because I’m gonna take this test,” he said.

Trump went as far as to promise to donate $1 million to her charity of choice if she took a DNA test.

When asked if he also wanted $1 million, Graham joked that he “wants a casino and a million bucks.” (The Hill)

Warren revealed this week that she took a DNA test and the results came back that she is POSSIBLY 1/1024th Native American, ranging up to ten generations back. That means out of 1024 ancestors, there might be ONE person who was actually Native American in her family, with the keyword being POSSIBLY.

Warren’s DNA test results were so NOT Native American. The results were so bad that she may be LESS Native American than the average European American, or in other words – white person. If that’s the case, then Elizabeth Warren is basically whiter than most white people if we’re going by DNA results. So much for all those times she might have mentioned her Native American heritage. I guess she was faking it while she was making it.

“So Elizabeth Warren is *possibly* 1/1024 (0.09%) Native American.

Scientists say the average European-American is 0.18% Native American. (
https://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/25/science/23andme-genetic-ethnicity-study.html …)

That’d make Warren even less Native American than the average European-American.”

Left-wing news outlets kept posting stories about how Warren’s DNA test “strongly supports” her claim to be Native American, or have Native American ancestry. Anyone can see that 1/1024th is not a “strong” level of support.

If I owed you $1024, would you be OK with me paying you $1? Not acceptable, right? Maybe that’s a bad analogy, but you get the idea.

To make things worse, the REAL Cherokee Nation released a statement that slammed Warren and called her out for what she did with the DNA test. The Cherokee Nation rejected Warren and the test. “Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong,” said Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr.

“It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven.” (The Hill)

Will Lindsey Graham really get a DNA test, or was he just joking?

We shall find out in a few weeks!

Either way, Sen. Graham has been on fire and he’s lighting up the media with witty one-liners.

It’s like he’s become a new person and I’m really enjoying his banter on television and social media.

Graham is taking a toxic political environment and making some subtle jokes to lighten everyone up a bit.

I think we need that right about now, except there’s just going to always be people who won’t think anything is funny.

We don’t need that negativity in our life.

Let’s see what Graham does with his DNA test!

On a side note, how many people bought a DNA test today to see their own results?
