As Joe Biden’s re-election campaign continues to implode in the wake of a disastrous debate performance, he failed to control the damage during an interview with a Philadelphia radio station on Thursday.

During the appearance, Biden seemed confused as usual, and at one point seemed to describe himself as a Black woman.

According to the Daily Mail:

The gaffe-prone president, 81, stumbled over his words during Thursday’s interview with Philadelphia’s WURD, seemingly mixing himself up with his Vice President Kamala Harris.

‘By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman… to serve with a black president. Proud to be involved of the first black woman on the Supreme Court. There’s so much that we can do because, look… we’re the United States of America.’

The damning clip soon spread far and wide via social media:

The garbled interview came just one day before Biden was scheduled to sit down for an ABC News interview that could make or break his chances to ultimately retain his party’s nomination.

As Fox News reported:

Axios senior media reporter Sara Fischer, a CNN senior media analyst, argued on the network Thursday that President Biden’s upcoming ABC interview won’t be enough to fix his reputation with the American people following last week’s debate.

Biden’s performance in the CNN Presidential Debate has sent some in the Democratic Party into a panic about his chances in November against former President Trump. The president’s appearance and gaffes fueled continued national furor about his ability to serve, leading many of his staunchest supporters to ask him to either step down or prove he has the ability to serve.

While Biden will be giving a post-debate interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos this Friday, Fischer argued that much more must be done if he wants to reassure voters.

“So one of the things that the president is trying to argue is ‘Don‘t look at this 90 minute debate. Look at my 3.5 years,’” Fischer said. “Well, the challenge also works on the flipside, if you don‘t want us to believe what we saw, then give us multiple examples of you being able to do a live, unscripted interview, so we can see that this was just a one-off, if that‘s what you claim.”

But this wasn’t the first time Biden has engaged in what his fellow leftists commonly deride as cultural appropriation.

FLASHBACK: Biden Stumbles Through Another Speech, Refers To “Merfin and Ruthers”

“Finkle and Einhorn, Einhorn and Finkle…..in it together….somehow!”

Ah, the great duos of all time.

Jordan/Pippen.

Kobe/Shaq.

Montana/Rice.

…..Merfin and Ruthers…..?

Yeah, I don’t know who they are either, but Joe Biden today in a long, mumbling, meandering “speech” claimed he was “as determined as Merfin and Ruthers” to get something done.

Oh my.

Watch here and see if you can figure it out:

Yeah, I don’t know.

There does not appear to be anyone even remotely close to the names of Merfin or Ruthers anywhere on Biden’s (fake) cabinet.

The best anyone has come up with is that “Merfin” was a reference to Merrick Garland, which I guess in Biden-speak is kind of close.

Someone then posted the subtitles to clear up the confusion:

Oh my goodness, I can’t stop laughing!

It only got better from there….

Reading some of the replies, these were my favorite.

Merfin and Ruthers?  One guy thinks they played for the 85 Bears:

This next one seems appropriate in light of Prince Philip’s long-awaited death:

And kudos to BevJoy for correcting the record on this one:
